U.K. Broadcast Tech Young Talent Awards 2014

The Broadcast TECH Young Talent Awards recognize outstanding individuals, aged under 30, working in technology and post production in the U.K. Anyone in the broadcast industries can nominate staff, peers or freelancers to highlight the work of their talented colleagues. The awards ceremony will take place during the Production and Post Forum at BAFTA on 5 November, and will celebrate success in a wide range of technical roles.

Nominations for the 2014 awards are now open for the following categories:

·         VFX

·         Engineer

·         Runner

·         Sound Technician – post

·         Sound Technician- production

·         Online Editor

·         Camera Technician / Grip

·         Colourist

·         Lighting Technician

·         Producer

·         Women in Tech

To nominate please complete an application form and return to jane.maguire@mb-insight.com by Tuesday 12th August. You will have a chance to detail the key achievements of your nominee as well as why you believe they should be a Broadcast TECH Young Talent Award winner. Judges will be looking for established success, evidence of ambition and a testimonial from an employer. Please note all nominees must be 29 or under by 5th November 2014 to qualify.
