Intern with Sennheiser at AES NY 2019
Sennheiser & Neumann is seeking one member of SoundGirls to intern with the company during the 2019 AES NY show. Interns will need to be available from Oct. 15 – 18, 2019
Dates and Times
- October 15 – Load In and Set Up Booth/Demo Room (arrive between 9am and 10am)
- October 16 – Arrive at booth by 9am for booth briefing. Show from 10am to 6pm.
- October 17 – Arrive at booth by 9:30am. Show from 10am to 6pm.
- October 18 – Arrive at booth by 9:30am. Show from 10am to 4pm. Dismantle from 4pm on (approx. 2-3 hours).
Responsibilities
- Primary need is assistance in Demo Room with opportunities to assist in booth between demo hours
- Welcome guests, scan their badge and conduct questionnaire on scanner
- Answer any product questions you feel comfortable answering
- Guide guests to a sales representative for any questions that cannot be answered
- Assist in product dismantle/packing at the end of the show
AES NY takes place at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
Payment will be a pair of Sennheiser headphones and microphone: HD280 Pro and e835. You will also receive a letter of recommendation upon successful close of the show. Travel expenses are not included.

Intern with Sennheiser at NAMM 2019
Sennheiser & Neumann are seeking one member of SoundGirls to intern with the company during the 2019 NAMM show. Interns will need to be available from January 23 – January 27, 2019.
Dates and Times
- January 23 – Noon set up the booth
- January 24 – 27 Show hours: 10 am – 6 pm
- January 24 – Arrive at the booth by 9:00 am
- January 25 – 27 Arrive at the booth by 9:30 am
- January 27 – Dismantle booth starts at 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Answer any product questions you feel comfortable answering
- Guide guests to a sales representative for any questions that cannot be answered
- Help ensure all product demonstrations are functioning properly (mics, monitors, headphones, etc.)
- Assist in product dismantle/packing at the end of show
Anaheim Convention Center North
Payment will be a pair of Sennheiser headphones and microphone HD280Pro and e835. You will also receive a letter of recommendation upon successful close of the show.
You’re also welcome to join Sennheiser for dinner each evening and attend The She Rocks Awards on January 25th.

Delaware – Intern at The Ladybug Music Festival
Ladybug Music Festival is looking for SoundGirls members to volunteer for the 2017 festival. There are many positions available for any level of experience.
The event is July 20th in downtown Wilmington at various stages near 2nd and Lower Market Streets. They will have 8 to 10 small indoor venues they are looking for engineers to run sound at. Some are simple singer-songwriter artists with one or two inputs. Some are full band and may require more experience. The main stage is run by Electro Sound and volunteers are needed to assist at that stage with setup and artist relations.
Volunteers to mix sound at one of the smaller stages would need to be available between 4pm and 10pm. (there may be a small pay for this position only)
Interns to help with setup of the sound systems in these smaller venues would need to be available between 2pm and 5pm.
Interns to help with artists load in would need to be available between 3pm and 7:30pm.
Water and Limited Food Vouchers will be given to volunteers. Free parking is available through the organization. Anyone interested in volunteering or running sound for Ladybug Music Festival should email a resume and cover letter no later than June 15th to soundgirls@soundgirls.org
Intern with Sennheiser at NAMM 2017
Sennheiser & Neumann are seeking two members of SoundGirls.Org to intern with the company during the 2017 NAMM show. Interns will need to be available from January 17-January 22 (there is some flexibility).
Duties will include:
Booth setup and tear down,
Equipment setup and demo for customers
Meeting and greeting customers when they are in the booth
Gathering badge information
And anything else that may happen during a busy trade show.

You will be assisting SoundGirl Member and Head of Audio Kate Lee. You will gain work experience setting up and tearing down backline and sound for the services working alongside Kate.
Candidates should have basic audio knowledge – signal flow, mic placement, wrapping cables, etc. This is not a paid internship – but you will gain work experience. Candidates should plan on interning for at least six weeks.
